Irrigation season begins in Southern Central Idaho as Minidoka Dam headgates open.đź’§

This month, in partnership with the Burley Irrigation District, headgates at Minidoka Dam were opened to “water-up” and prime the canal systems for the season ahead. It’s the critical first step in delivering water to farms and communities across the Minidoka Project.
