How does UW-Milwaukee prepare students for careers as physical therapists?
Vanity earned her doctor of physical therapy degree from UW-Milwaukee after discovering her passion for helping others through her own experience with physical therapy. After tearing her ACL, she saw firsthand how a physical therapist could make an impact not only physically, but also mentally and emotionally.
Through UW-Milwaukee's Doctor of Physical Therapy program, Vanity gained hands-on experience that helped her build confidence and prepare to work with real patients. After graduation, she will begin her career as a physical therapist at PT Solutions, where she will continue developing her skills through an orthopedic residency program.
