Animation to Show How Train Moves on Curve Track!
Also Testing the Various Profile of Rail Wheels at railroad!
Design, Assembly and Animation all Done in Solidworks Software.
This Animation is divided into two parts. In the First Part, some train wheel profiles are being tested on the real like train track and you should definitely watch those amazing results.
The Second Parts of the Animation is about the working pf final wheel profile on the rail track, this is being demonstrated by a 4 bogie train moving on a pre-designed path for a complete revolution.
Mechanics of Train Wheels Turning at Curve :-
At turning:
Inner wheel rolls on smallest circumference while outer wheel on largest circumference (this is possible only due to conical shape of wheel) this helps the outer wheel to cover more distance in same time than inner wheel.
Overall:
There is no any difference between the turning of a train and an automobile, Except that train has conical shape wheel for that purpose whereas an automobile has differential gear.
