SO! My first authortube video! I decided to start with something I'm most comfortable talking about: characters! In this video, I talk about my personal character-building process, base upwards. I share tips on how to write well-rounded characters and highlight a good place to start when you're trying to write characters.
There is nothing such as "10 tips to write better characters". Like any part of writing, character building is a craft and needs time, patience, study and skill to get right. In the current trend of publishing, characters play a huge role in deciding how well your book is going to do, so never skip your research on writing character!
This video is part one of a series. Character-building is one of the most interesting and dynamic parts of the writing process, and I can't possibly cover everything in a single video.
