Key Stage 2 and 3 children age 7-14 will enjoy this fun, educational and engaging film writing project, designed by qualified teachers using the UK National Curriculum. This writing lesson with author TOM HUDDLESTON challenges children to create their own futuristic city where any adventure could take place for their characters.

This exercise will encourage children to think up even more ideas! We suggest they answer these questions as they go... 1) Draw where you live in the future. What is the one major thing that has changed? 2) Write a short description about your futuristic city. What do you see? What do you hear? What do you think or feel?

This video is part of a seven-week online literacy and script writing project for teachers and parents to use with children at home or at school.
