In this new episode of our tutorial series IN THE STUDIO, artist Liz Collins teaches you how to pull threads from woven fabric to create works inspired by Anni Albers, Agnes Martin, Alberto Burri, and other artists. Learn how to experiment with grids, stripes, fringed edges, floats, interweaving, and sewing to create a curtain like Liz does, or decide to make your own wall hanging, tablecloth, placemat, bedspread or anything else with these versatile at-home weaving techniques.
