Yes, you can totally wax your own skis at home. You don't need to take them in and pay to have them professionally waxed. I tried 2 methods with stuff i already had around the house.
1st - using a paraffin wax candle and a heat gun (or hair dryer). This worked, but was a little difficult.
2nd - using paste wax. This worked great and was easy to do.
Both methods worked and didn't take much time.
Remember, we're not building a watch, we're just putting wax on skis. It's not super complex.
