It's been a pretty wet year and it seems like every time I have a day off it's raining or cold so I am behind on everything. Today I went to check on asparagus and realized I still haven't adjusted soil ph on blueberries and they are already starting to bloom and it's the middle of April. I normally tend to blueberries around end of February / first of March and again around May/June. Well, my mistake can be used to teach you how to visually tell if your blueberry soil ph is wrong. If left unchecked, it will eventually kill the blueberry plants since proper soil ph ensures they can obtain the correct nutrients from the soil. Without correct nutrients, the plants will struggle to grow, produce less or smaller fruits, and eventually die. My blueberry plants like their ph around 4.5-5.0

soil ph tester I use when I really want to know (i own both of these): amzn.to/4jzSkR8 or amzn.to/4je26IU
Once you apply the fertilizer with sulfur, you should see the leaf color change in about 5 days. I already recorded the updated video (5 days later) and you can clearly see the difference with the leaves almost totally back to normal. If you water the fertilizer in, don't apply a lot of water. Too much water too soon will wash all the sulfur out defeating the purpose. That's why I let it get watered in naturally via rain.
