I am using a page in a cheap traveller's notebook and filling it with brush strokes to add color and texture. It is like brush mark making 101 but it is super fun and well worth trying if you are a newbie or revisiting if you are more experienced in your art.
It is a mixed media piece and I combine the acrylic paint brush strokes with both paint pens and an ordinary ball point pen to make an interesting page in my journal.
