In this video, I’m taking an in-depth look at the Tulips and Daffodils BetterPress Plate and coordinating stencil bundle from my Yana’s Tulips collection with Spellbinders.
I’m sharing how to use this floral BetterPress plate with the Glimmer Hot Foil System, how to color the foiled images with the coordinating stencils, and how to create several different card designs, including A2 cards and a larger 5x7 floral background.
This product is very versatile. You can use the BetterPress plate with the BetterPress Letterpress System or with a hot foil machine such as Glimmer. In this tutorial, I focus mainly on hot foiling and stencil coloring, and I also share examples of coloring the floral image with Copic markers.

The Tulips and Daffodils plate features a beautiful floral arrangement with tulips and daffodils and is part of my latest Yana’s Tulips collection from Spellbinders. The coordinating stencils make it easy to add color quickly, while the plate can also be used on its own with markers, watercolor, or colored pencils.
