I am showing you some simple alterations you can make in order to achieve a better fit when using sewing patterns. I made Vogue 1595 which is designed for moderate stretch fabrics. The alterations I made were shortening sleeves, bodice, eliminating the kick pleat and omitting the lining. These alterations are easy to do and make sewing quicker and simpler.
