If you've ever seen the glowing gold circles while playing Salt 2, then you might have wondered what they're for. These are treasure spots. In order to get loot from those spots you first need to get yourself a treasure grabber. These can be purchased from the ship suppliers. Once you've bought one you then just need to put it on your ship. Sail that ship to a golden treasure circle, line up the grabber with the circle and you can then grab a sunken treasure chest from that spot.
This can be a bit difficult because winds can make it hard and a choppy sea also makes life tricky. But there are some other things you can do to get into the right spot.
