Learn how to use the Speedball Spinback. Designed (and demoed here) by master relief printmaker Alex Carmona, the Spinback solves a nagging issue: how to keep wood blocks stable while carving, while also giving them the ability to rotate when needed. The Spinback does both. Its ergonomic design also removes the strain of physically holding the block down, allowing for years of comfortable carving.

With a seamless 360˚ rotation, Spinback allows you to quickly and easily rotate your block to carve in any direction whether using wood or linoleum blocks from 1.25” x 2” to 14.8” x 14.8”. non-slip backing and integrated clamping system guarantee your block won’t accidentally shift during carving.
