Learn how to use Rive's Shape Builder tool to build complex shapes from simple overlapping ones. Select your objects, then open the tool from the Create Tools menu or press Shift+M. Rive breaks your shapes into regions wherever they intersect. Drag across regions to combine them — the merged shape takes the fill of whichever region you start from, so direction matters. Hold Alt/Option and click or drag to subtract regions and punch holes in your design. If you've used Shape Builder in Illustrator or Figma, you'll feel right at home.
