Some time back I purchased the Logitech MK850 keyboard and mouse combo so that I could control two computers with a single keyboard and mouse. I returned it because it did not work well for me and since then I have been using two different devices to share the input devices instead.
The first option is a simple USB switch and the second was a low cost KVM switch that switches both video and USB. In this video I run thru the advantages and disadvantages of both.
