We have a quick update for your QuickJack portable car lift, and it pertains to most new orders, no matter which lift assembly (BL-5000SLX, BL-7000SLX, etc.) or power unit (110V, 220V or 12 DC) you select. New one-step fittings will be included in QuickJack shipments, and they’re easier than ever to install. Please note that the new fittings do not improve functionality of the lift, they simply remove one step during setup. If you receive the two-step power unit fittings, which includes the separate grease nipples that we have been using for the past few years, please follow the original setup, as per your product manual. There is no need to swap parts for the latest version.

If you receive the new fittings, there will be no need to install a grease nipple followed by installment of the male quick-connect fitting. There is simply an all-in-one male quick-connect that screws right into the power unit. Even if your instruction manual includes instructions for installing a grease nipple fitting, this video will show you how to install the new fittings.

Note: Because the update is not a matter of safety or performance, we will continue to ship previously packaged versions until we are out of stock. With both versions, your QuickJack car lift will workequally well once setup is complete!
