VST's that allow more than 1 instrument to be played out of it have to be set up in a way where there are multiple inputs, as well as multiple outputs. This video covers how correctly use Multi-VST Plugins, how to enable multiple Midi Input ports, as well as how to set multiple Output Ports for each instrument in the Multi VST. I am using Spectrasonic's Omnisphere in this example.
