I am using Varathane GEL STAIN to MAKEOVER my new thrifted CORNER HUTCH today. NO STRIPPING or SANDING to Bare wood! What?! That's awesome! Sanding is my least favorite task to do lol. But using the Gel Stain was so easy and fast! Messy, but super easy to use. I picked this used corner hutch up (for super cheap) from our neighborhood website (kind of like a craigslist) and I'm so happy I did. It fits the space perfectly! It was that too yellow-ish wood tone. I didn't want to paint it and lose the wood texture, so I thought I'd give the gel stain a try. It's awesome! I hope you like how it turned out and that you give Gel Stain a try for your next furniture makeover. The Varathane brand Gel Stain can be used on other surfaces like, plastic etc...🤩
