The next step for managing our inventory and making builds is to use Load Optimizers to pick the very best pieces for the stats we want. This guide will get you started on the basics of how to use DIM's and D2Armorpicker's Loadout Optimizer: to make builds and further whittle down what armor is work keeping (and which are destined for the trash heap).

Tips: Leave in some wiggle room for changes in mod cost/efficacy - as these are changing in Lightfall. Make SEVERAL builds. The more you make, the more you learn what armor ACTUALLY is used.
