living proof that you can buy a standard $10 wiring harness and use it on a vehicle 2007 and up without receiving any check engine lights or warning messages. this harness works perfectly on my 2008 Silverado, i know it will work on 2007-2013 silverados and most other newer vehicles. dont buy one of those $100 PAC harnesses unless you care about losing onstar and your door chimes
