How to upload an iPhone video to YouTube BrightonWestVideo.com Do you have video recordings on your iPhone (or any smartphone) that you want to upload directly to YouTube? You can do this using the YouTube app.

When you click the camera icon within the YouTube app, it will show you the videos in your Camera Roll or Gallery. If your video is under 15 minutes, you will go through the normal upload process of trimming, adding music, creating a great title, description, setting the video privacy, adding tags then clicking Upload.

But if it's your first time uploading a video longer than 15 minutes, you might need to input your phone number so that YouTube can send you a code, which you will input to enable your account to upload longer videos.
