How to Update Samsung TV Software | How to update software and firmware on Samsung Smart TV

The software update lets you upgrade your TVs software to the latest version. It can keep your device compatible with your favourite streaming apps, improve performance and fix potential bugs. You should always check to see if there are any software updates available as these may contain a fix for your problem. Note that your TV must be connected to the internet doesn't matter if using wifi or a wired connection

1. Press the Home button on your Remote.
2. Using the directional pad on your Remote, navigate to and select Settings.
3. Navigate to and select Support.
4. Select Software Update.
5. Select Update Now.
6. Please wait while the TV checks for any available updates.

Please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically. If there aren't any new updates, select OK to exit.
