How to Update FireStick Firmware to the Latest Version. This will ensure you install the latest firmware on your Firestick to get new features and better security.

The same method works for all Amazon Fire TV devices, including Fire TV Cube, FireStick Lite, and FireStick 4K.

Please note, Never unplug your Fire TV Stick when it’s installing updates. Unplugging during the installation process could brick the device.

Go to Settings on your Fire TV.
Select My Fire TV.
Select About.
Select Check for System Update or Install Update.
If your device is up to date, you will see “Check for Update.”
If an update is available, you will see “Install Update.”
Wait for updates to be installed.
