In this video, Kevin shows how to remove and troubleshoot the Epson ET-8550 capping station, with a focus on clogged waste tubes and the peristaltic pump. You’ll learn how to test whether the capping station is clogged, how the wiper and platform move, and why the foam pads are not gear-driven.
This tutorial walks through removing the pump cover, checking the small and large tubes, flushing the clog, cutting and extending tubing when needed, and reinstalling the roller, core, cover, and screw correctly.
