even if no cheats are allowed, it wasnt started in creative, you can with just the click of 2 buttons change a strictly survival world into creative, allow cheats(ie. set the time, change game rules, etc.) you simply open it to a LAN world and allow cheats, and Tada, you can use commands! now go ahead and brag to your friends about that stack of diamonds you obtained legitimately :)
