MacEffects ( maceffects.com/collections/all ) had a really nice sale on the clear (transparent / translucent) SE cases for black friday, so I bought one. I'll go over how to disassemble a Macintosh SE and transfer the guts into this pretty blue case.
I'll cover some of the stuff to look out for on the Mac SE.
I also went over how to service / rebuild a Macintosh 800k floppy drive.

This FX-3000 motherboard is really interesting and can use either 386 or 486 processors. But it doesnt have a VLB slot which makes it not ideal for 486 use. HOWEVER, it has the traces laid out for VLB. Can we just add a VESA local bus slot extension to these through-holes? If it works, well do some benchmarking.
