I'll show you how to switch rail track directions in Minecraft.
First, I'll show you the easiest way.
We just need to place a lever right next to our rails, over here.
And we can easily switch them whenever we need.
But this might not always be convenient.
So, we will move the lever to another spot to make it more comfortable.
To do this, we first need to break the block underneath the rails.
Place a redstone torch right here.
After that, run a redstone line to the place where we want to put our lever.
Place a redstone torch here.
And place some redstone right here.
Now, on the surface directly above this redstone, place the lever itself.
And now, whenever we flip it, the rail will change its direction.
