How to switch off / disable Live Caption on your Android device.
let's talk briefly about what Live Caption is. It is a feature that changes speech into text- quite useful, isn't it?
But if you don't need it or if youve turned it on by accident, you can turn it off very quickly. Let me show you how.
1. Go to the 'Settings' of your phone.
2. Most new phones have a search option on the top of the settings screen. Tap on that.
3. Type the words 'Live Caption' in that search bar, as I am doing here.
4. Youll see the Live Caption setting appear. You can just switch it off directly from here.
Alternatively,
1. go to 'Settings'.
2. scroll down till you find 'Accessibility'. tap on it.
3. then find the 'Live Caption' option.
4. Then, simply turn it off.
