The Atacama desert is the driest region in the world, and home to one of the planet's deadliest spiders. Somewhere in the vast rocky sands is the six-eyed sand spider, the arachnid with the worst bite of them all. I'm heading on a quest to find this spider, but in order to do that, I'll need to unlock the secrets of why they're so venomous, which is in part due to the story of the Atacama itself, and the many strange creatures that live there.

This documentary was filmed on-site in Chile.
