Hey, it's Alicia Ekermans (@CallMeCraftyAl) here, and I'm going to be showing you how to create a quick, colorful birthday card using some of the newest Shades of Fall colors from Taylored Expressions.

I wanted to find a way to add some color to the background of my card, so I 'stretched' my supplies and used the Piece of Cake layering stencil to create a colorful border strip using the same colors that I built my cake out of. To top off my Happy Happy Birthday Cake, I cut some Sweet Corn candles and topped them off with some Hot Fudge frosting which I made look more 'ooey gooey' with Glossy Accents.
