This video shows which supplies you need to get started loom knitting, how to tie a basic slip knot (there are lots of methods) and how to do a chain cast on. This is my favorite cast on (but not necessarily the easiest) since it results in a nice tidy border which will be very similar to the sides of your project. Enjoy
FYI - I made an error. The loom that I show is a Leisure Arts Ultimate Oval Loom. It is the larger loom in a two loom set. The loom is NOT made by KB. Sorry for the confession.
