I'm often asked about my metering technique for working with slide film with a Sekonic light meter, so I decided to make this video to show my simple process. I use a Sekonic L-758DR light meter, and the pop-up gray card is made by Manfrotto. This particular Sekonic light meter is discontinued, but past and current versions will have a similar workflow.

Many of the voice over narratives on this trip were taken directly from my written journal. Following each video series, I scan the handwritten entries and create an eBook combining them with unedited looks at my film atop a light box.
