A while back I tried a few times to solder copper wire to aluminum foil, but no matter how much i tried it did not work. I used different type of oil (car engine oil, olive oil, sunflower seed oil etc.) to cover the surface of aluminum and scrape the surface of aluminum with soldering iron to remove the oxide layer under oil and then solder it, but did not work. In other Youtube videos people seems to have success with that method, but i did not manage it.
A while back i bought a flux from Ali express to solder copper to stainless steel. Today I was cleaning my house a bit and i saw this flux. I tried it on aluminum and it worked really perfectly, as shown in the video. You can buy it from aliexpress using the following name/link

Last Monday I had my final evaluation and still am waiting for the results. I will talk about it when I have the result. The boat is being launched into the water, let see if it stay afloat.
