In this DROPS video we show you how to slip an edge-stitch twisted, where the edge-stitch is slipped with the strand at the back of the piece at the beginning of the row and knitted at the end of the row; i.e., the edge stitch is worked every 2nd row, giving an even edge. The piece is worked in garter stitch (knitting each row).

BEFORE STARTING THE VIDEO:
We begin with the first stitch.

Slip the first stitch purl-wise from the left needle to the right needle with the strand behind the piece, without twisting the stitch. Knit to the end of the row, knitting the last stitch.
