Learn how to sign Or in BSL. When presenting two options in BSL, it's common to make use of placement. Sign option 1 slightly to your left, shift your body to the right and sign option 2 to your right. The nuance is in the body movement clearly indicating the different areas the options occupy. We've signed "or" with open hands turning up but it can be signed with the body and shoulder movement alone.
The example sentences in English are:
1. Do you prefer tea or coffee?
2. Do you want chocolate or cake?
