While I don't think that Sarah Lazarovic designed the Buyarchy of Needs to be deeply analyzed, considering it's just a small graphic included in her book, "A Bunch of Pretty Things I Did Not Buy", that doesn't mean it isn't fun to think about how it can be applied to a general wardrobe buying strategy. In a world full of constant impulse buying, it's so nice to have a handy graphic to point to that shows alternatives to buying newly made clothing. Sustainable fashion doesn't have to be complicated. Sometimes it really is as simple as learning what to buy, what to borrow, and what to DIY or buy secondhand instead.
