Follow along with Josh to shim your Encore ESP! While you shouldn't need this for new grinders, we recommend adding a shim when you find yourself at the bottom of the range, but not grinding fine enough for espresso. Not to be confused with an inconsistent coarse grind - this is an option for anyone who wants to customize their grinder’s range.
