Do you know how to sew elastic thread by hand in your handmade projects? You can make a mitten cuff or a sock cuff fit a lot more comfortably if you add a little bit of elastic thread to it.
This is an excellent solution to make non-elastic fabric more snug. Tunisian crochet and regular crochet are not known for their elasticity, so you can help them with a little elastic thread used for sewing.
The thread can be usually found in craft stores, textile stores and online.
