An inseam pocket (side pocket) is usually quickly finished with serging or zigzagging around the raw edges. But when you're finishing a garment (generally a dress) beautifully with French seams, it is a shame to cheap out at this step. In this tutorial, taken from the sewalong for our Alice Dress, Judith will show you how to easily achieve a perfect finish on the pocket as well. This technique will work on any pattern that features a pocket like this, so try it out the next time you are using French seams.
