This cushion cover is a cheerful seaside-inspired patchwork design with a playful handmade look, ideal for appliqué and decorative stitching.
The centre square is a 12" square piece of calico, use your colourful scraps for the applique and border. I have used Bondaweb for the applique, and a length of piping cord for the bunting.
Fuse interfacing to the back of the cushion front to help prevent the satin stitches from puckering.
It has a zipped back, you will need an 18" zip or longer.
Finished size is 14" x 14".
