In this video, I wanted to show how you could use native Home Assistant to build randomized lightning automation that could be used when you are on vacation.
This is definitely an advanced topic because in order to pull this off we need some helpers, some looping scripts, and some templates leveraging jinja. But don't worry, I walk through all of it, and for those that want to skip to the good stuff, I posted all the YAML used to create this lighting effect on my blog so you can just copy and paste.
So, let's Automate some boring stuff.
