This tutorial should work for the regular OBS Studio, I just happen to be using OBS Studio FTL for streaming using Beam's faster-than-light protocol. The audio artifact you hear is just from talking while adjusting the settings cause I have my recording bitrate too high..

This video will help you if you have problems with your microphone not being picked up by OBS. It will also help for setting up a noise gate, gain, and noise suppression.
