The Echo Show 5 3rd Gen is a wifi smart speaker with a video touch screen with Alexa built in. You can ask it questions using Alexa commands or ask it to play music or control your connected smart home devices.
The Echo Show 5 Gen 3 is an update from previous generations with sleeker lines, updated buttons and a video privacy shutter that can physically block the camera when not in use.
My primary use for the Echo Show 5 is to use it as an alarm clock and listen to music at my desk while not taking up too much space.
How To Set Up The Echo Show 5 3rd Gen:
1. Download and install the Amazon Alexa App. Login and create a username and password then open the app.
2. With the Amazon Alexa app open and while you are logged in you can then plug in the power cord for the Echo Show.
3. Once you plug in the power cord for the Echo Show it will then automatically set up on your Amazon Alexa App. You can then follow the instructions to set up your Echo Show 5 3rd Generation on the Amazon Alexa app.
