In this tutorial, I'll be showing you how to send and receive SMS using Google Messages from your computer, you can use the "Messages for Web" feature. Here's how to set it up:
1. Make sure you have the latest version of the Google Messages app installed on your Android phone. You can download it from the Google Play Store if needed.
2. Open Google Messages on your phone and ensure that you're signed in to your Google account.
3. On your computer, open a web browser and visit the Messages for Web website at messages.google.com/web.
4. In the Google Messages app on your phone, tap the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner, and select "Messages for Web."
5. Scan the QR code displayed on the Messages for Web website using your phone's camera. Align the QR code within the frame until it's successfully scanned.
6. Once the QR code is scanned, your phone and computer will be connected, and you'll see your recent text conversations on the web interface.
7. To send an SMS from your computer, click on the "Start chat" button or select an existing conversation. Then, type your message in the input field and press Enter or click on the send icon.
8. Any replies or incoming SMS messages will be displayed on both your phone and the Messages for Web interface on your computer.
By following these steps, you can send and receive SMS messages through Google Messages using your computer. It's worth noting that both your phone and computer need to have an internet connection for this feature to work properly.
