You can send an email on an Android phone by using the Gmail app or your preferred email app, composing a message, entering the recipient, and tapping send.
Step 1 — Open Your Email App
Most Android phones come with the Gmail app pre-installed. If you use another service (e.g., Outlook or Yahoo Mail), download the respective app from the Google Play Store and sign in to your account.
Step 2 — Compose a New Email
Open the app and tap the “Compose” button, usually represented by a + or pencil icon.
A new email window will appear with fields for To, Cc/Bcc (optional), Subject, and the body of the message.
Step 3 — Add Recipient(s)
In the To field, type the email address of the person you want to send the message to.
To add more recipients, separate each email address with a comma or use the Cc (carbon copy) or Bcc (blind carbon copy) fields if needed.
Step 4 — Write Your Message
Enter a clear and concise subject in the Subject field.
Type your message in the main body area. You can format text, add links, or use emojis depending on your email app's features.
Step 5 — Add Attachments (Optional)
Tap the paperclip icon or attach button to add files such as images, documents, or videos.
Browse your phone’s storage and select the file you want to attach.
Step 6 — Send the Email
Once your message is ready, tap the Send button, usually a paper airplane icon.
The app will confirm that the email has been sent and may save a copy in your Sent folder.
