In this video tutorial I will show you how to send a rope across a frozen surface such as a small lake, pond, or river.
The figure-8 coil method shown in the video works best with thicker ropes because it reduces twisting and tangling.
When the coils are stacked properly—one over the other—the rope pays out cleanly and without knots during the throw.
