Scrapping transformers is a great source of copper, even when the transformers are little ones like these.
There are a couple of different ways to scrap these but this is my preferred method as it means you don't need to separate the fins.
So whatever you use to chop motors or transformers in half, I'd say it's the quickest method to extract the copper goodness.
