To save video clips up to 1 hour long on Xbox Series X|S, you can use an external hard drive or USB drive. Here are the steps to record up to one hour of gameplay on Xbox Series X using an external hard drive:

Connect the external hard drive to your Xbox Series X|S.
From the Xbox Series X|S dashboard, go to the settings tab.
Scroll down to preferences and go into the Capture and Share menu option.
Once on the Capture and Share screen, go all the way down to the capture location and change Internal to the external hard drive you have plugged in.
Confirm the change, and you’re all set to record longer gameplay clips!
