If you're going to use Duolingo, which you may want to do if you're learning a foreign language, then you can save a lot of time and energy but NOT READING THE FORUMS.

The Duolingo Forums and Duolingo question pages are a waste of time because anyone who wants to can throw their opinion out there.
Do not read the Duolingo forums to answer questions about grammar in your language or to find out from other Duolingo forum members why an answer wasn't accepted.
I have a 1000 Day streak on Duolingo and I am always looking for good apps for language learning. There are much better apps than Duolingo out there, so why I do I recommend using Duolingo? The truth is, I don't. But a lot of people are going to use Duolingo anyway, and if you are going to use it, you might as well save 8 minutes out of every day (or 2 days out of every year) NOT READING THE COMMENS!
There are some good features on Duolingo, and a video may be coming soon about the Duolingo's best feature. This mightn be the Duolingo in depth review that you were after but if you are going to use Duolingo to learn a language and you're looking at language app reviews and other apps like Duolingo or simply the best app to learn a language, this might be a good place to start.
I have made videos about whether it's worth it to keep a Duolingo streak, about updates to Duolingo and about other language learning apps such as Busuu and Lingvist, which are my two favourite language applications at the moment.
