How to clean silver coins, safely with harmful no chemicals (like Tarnex and other brands that hurt the coins). Remove tarnish off any silver coin, jewelry or silver items with house hold items.
Steps. Line a bowl with aluminium foil. Place your coin or silver item in bowl. Add Boiling water. Add Baking soda. Watch the tarnish and dirt disappear. Then rinse off with soapy water! Last and important step (I didn't film the rinse, but gotta rinse it after). Do not touch the surfaces of the coin!
This will restore your tarnished mint state coins and return their original mint lustre, or shine up jewellery in a pinch.
